Not me being gone for three years. LOL
It’s hard to believe that it has been three years since I last posted here. The last eloquentstammer was December 2020; now it’s December 2023. What a trip the triple revolutions around the sun have been. I have been busy changing along with the years, mainly “life-ing” and “seminary-ing” and I guess whether consciously or not, I had to triage and this eloquentstammer had to take a back-seat.
Speaking of change (refer to last post), there is a ton that has changed, and so much that has stayed the same. Isn’t it funny how life works? For example, one of the things I used to worry about years ago regarding starting a blog/website was a fear that I won’t be consistent in posting on it, and it will just be sporadic. And yet, here I am, resuming my blog after this hiatus and I am perfectly at peace and have no shame about the fact that it’s been a while since I wrote here. In fact, even as I am back, I don’t feel any artificial pressure now keep up some consistent schedule. Of course, I desire to get back to blogging more moving forward, but if the next post happens to be October 2024, très bien. I will have no qualms about that. Writing will be a delight for me, and not some burden hanging heavily over my head.
But I digress.
Here are three other kinda-sorta-randomly-selected things that have changed along with the seasons:
My laptop: (and therefore I couldn’t even remember my password to this account. Lol) Shout out to the “forgot my password” tab that is still saving lives!
My location: I moved! I transported myself and my stuff to go love the Lord’s saints at a church in New Jersey.
My legendary uncle status: I’m now uncle to not one, but *two* nieces! Woohoo! God is so faithful.
And yet, some other things stayed the same:
God the Father is still good. Jesus still saves. The Holy Spirit bears witness in His word that tears-sowers are still joy-reapers.
Glory be to my thrice Holy God.
